Sid was shocked to see a photo of it last year, and stated it had to be the very first icon he ever created and a one of a kind. Block was made in about 1994. Unlike his icon collection, this block was not made of pure plaster. Its actually a WOODIE! Back in 1994, Sid experimented with wood blocks, with a thin layer of plaster on top. This nun, uses the same process.
