NEWS on our Weekly Free Contest - Thank you

As of today, I have given away 60 Free Blocks to members in the community. I was originally going to end the contest on Jan 1, 2010, but decided to keep it running a bit longer.

The contest has accomplished several things for the community. It has kept the community entertained in a bad economy. It has promoted friendships (our gifting policy) and it has helped our local Sid Dickens dealers. One of the purposes of the contest, was to bring collectors into the stores. I have heard many stories of members buying extra blocks, while picking up their free block. So the contest has been a success on all fronts. The contest has been lots of fun, and I see no reason why it should stop.

In order for the contest to continue, I will be making a few changes. Starting next week, the contest is moving back to once every 2 weeks. I may decide to move it back to weekly later on, but to be honest.... I need the break. As you can imagine the contest is very time consuming. But with this format, the contest will continue to run for the rest of year, and probably further.

NOW, I need to hear from YOU on the direction of the contest. Do you prefer photo rooms? Guess the Price on Ebay? Or a mixture of both?

Robin ... I don't think any of us can say enough about you and Kimberly's generosity of giving away Sid Blocks. These contests are such fun and I always look forward to them. Many thanks for the long hours you put into making these contests a rewarding pleasure for each of us.
